Customized Plant Based Compostable Courier Plastic Envelopes Pad Bags Waterproof Tear Proof Poly Mailer Shipping Bags
Our bioplastic Bags are made using a starch-based bioplastic certified industrially compostable (AS4736) and home compostable (AS5810) to Australian standards. Unlike ‘biodegradable plastic bags’, these bio bags are made from plants, not oil, and are part of the circular economy. ‘Biodegradable plastic bags’ are usually plastic bags with a chemical additive that causes them to disintegrate into tiny microplastics! Using our compostable bags reduces greenhouse gases, returns nutrients to the earth when composted and improves soil quality, and can cost less than sending waste to a landfill.

Compostable bags are made of natural plant starch, and do not produce any toxic material. Compostable bags break down readily in a composting system through microbial activity to form compost.
Biodegradable materials can be broken down naturally by bacteria, fungi, and algae without human intervention. The leftover components often provide no nutritional benefit to the surrounding soil.
The amount of time it takes for different materials to break down varies. For example, polymers are often referred to as resistant to biodegradation due to how long it takes to deteriorate. For something to be biodegradable, favorable conditions such as temperature, microorganisms, moisture, oxygen, and time must be met.
The main advantage of our bio-plastic is that it does not contain any starch. Starch is sensitive to moisture so if you left standard compostable bags in damp conditions (e.g. inside the bin or under a sink); they can begin to prematurely degrade. This can lead to your waste ending up on the floor and not in the composter.
Our technology creates compostable bags that are a blend of co-polyester and PLA (or known as sugar cane, which is a renewable resource).
The benefits of compostable bags are:
· 100% compostable and EN13432 Accredited.
· Outstanding mechanical properties and perform in a way similar to regular polythene bags and film
· High content of natural resource raw material
· Superior breathability
· Excellent ink adhesion for professional print quality
· An environmentally friendly alternative to standard polythene film and bags, our degradable film is designed to break down naturally making it easier to dispose of and eliminating the need to recycle or take up space in landfill sites.
